Trident School of Biotech Sciences
The Trident School of Biotech
Sciences (TSBS) is a unit of TACT(Trust) which has commenced
operation w.e.f. the academic session 2002-03. This is a fullfledged
college, distinct and different from the MCA/MBA college of TACT. The
first course introduced in TSBS was the M.Sc(Biotechnology) course
in the session 2002-03, simultaneously with the PG Deptt of Utkal
University. Since then, this course has continued with the approval
of the State Govt, duly affiliated to the Utkal University,
Bhubaneswar.
In 2004, B.Sc (Hons) Biotechnology was introduced in TSBS. The
institution is located at the permanent campus of the Trident Group
(Trident Technoplex) at F2, Chandaka Industrial Estate,
Bhubaneswar-24, right infront of the Infocity of Bhubaneswar, behind
Sailashree Vihar.
The School has been attracting students from the
entire Eastern India i.e Odisha, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar,
Assam and North East and in a recent survey, this has been adjudged
as the No.1 Biotechnology college of Eastern India. |
